When you
commission a fine artist to create a painting during your wedding reception the
guests will be delighted. The artist is
stationed in a corner of the reception area and guests are free to wander over and
view the progress as the party progresses.
Often times the painting cannot be completed during the wedding due to time
constraints. The artist will then take
the painting back to his studio to complete the creation. The artist will either deliver the painting personally
or ship by insured courier when it is dry.
Heirloom
paintings have long been cherished by families and handed down lovingly through
the generations.
Fine artist
Jess Perna began his college career at 15 attending art classes at Queensborough
Community College and moved on to a four year college the School of Visual Arts
in Manhattan at 16 earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree. He was commissioned
to draw his first magazine cover at age 11.
His art has constantly evolved and improved in the 36 years since his
first commission.
Jess can
create a masterpiece in oil for your wedding day which you will proudly display
in your home. The paint he uses is
non-toxic.
Most people
never get to see an artist in action creating museum quality artwork which is
why having an artist at your wedding reception is such an exciting
innovation. When the dinner is over, the
music stops, the finery tucked away the art remains forever available as a
reminder of your special day!

Additionally,
Jess does studio paintings from photographs for people who have already had
their wedding or those who want to order a painting from a family photo of
parents or grandparents. Photos need to
be clear enough for Jess to see the subject’s facial details. If you are not sure if your photos are good
enough you can email them to Judy@JessPerna.com
and she will review them and let you know.
